Hello.  This is what you do.  Pick a spawn spot, any spawn spot.  It's random across all 4.  No hot spots.  Go sit there.  Find one that's uncamped.  Network.  Say hello, be nice, don't be rude.  Here are the spawn spots:

Alright.  Park exactly in the middle of the spot you see TLPD's bitch ass come out in the gif.  Build a macro.  Fuck addons, they can't be trusted with old shit.  BUILD A MACRO.  Hit it a lot. Replace INSTANTCASTSPELL with whatever aggros shit and doesn't do damage.  find a random mob and test shit. if it jumps at you when you cast it, but you do no damage, fucking go with that. Oops, didn't edit the bottom half from the daddy version to the g-rated version.  that's ok.  you came to a website called TLPDdaddy.com, what did you expect?  I love you all the same.

Park exactly in the middle of the spot you see TLPD spawn from.  Build a macro.  Forget addons, they can't be trusted with old content that doesn't have the map icons.  BUILD A MACRO.  Hit it a lot. Replace INSTANTCASTSPELL with whatever aggros a mob but does zero damage.  Find a random mob and test it.  If it jumps at you when you cast it, but you do no damage, go with that.

/cleartarget   <==== this helps not accidentally cast on a mob or opposing faction or whatever.  helpful, trust me.
/tar time-  <===== i put this dash in there and leave it at that, no player will have a -.  won't target anything else.
/tar vyragosa <=====  Unless some hunter has a pet named vyragosa or some player is named that, should be gravy.
/stopmacro [noexists]  <===== vital.  don't want the rest of the commands to happen if you haven't targeted one of the dragons.
/script RetrieveCorpse()  <===== put this in if you're on a WARMODE ON version.  don't pvp.  will explain below.
/cast INSTANTCASTSPELL  <====== examples for non damaging spells, warlock i use curse of weakness, spellsteal on mage.
/p %t <==== this will announce to party that you have a target.  hopefully folks in parties will spend their time waiting by repeatedly checking the map to make sure they're clear who is where, so when something spawns they can quickly rush towards the correct spawn.
/stopattack  <==== THIS IS VITAL.  if you care about being helpful and actually work with your party members you hopefully grouped up with to cover 4/4 spawns.  this way, if you're in normal mode and high level, you can hit with a non damage spell to make it swing wings at your face.  and the stopattack will keep you from one-shotting whichever dragon with white damage.

WANT TO TELL SOMEONE WHAT SPAWNED, AND WHERE? SO YOU KNOW THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE SAYING?  AND HAVE ACTIONABLE, SPECIFIC INFORMATION?
download: NPCTIME. <== click the name. load it.  type /npctime layer.  make sure it says "npc time: show layer id."  if it says hide, type it again so it says show.  also because why not, type /npctime id, so you can see mob id too.  because information.  so when something dies, mouse-over it and screenshot for reference, and when you announce where something died, chromie WMon, for exmaple, say Chromie WMon 3886-22.  That will be "Layer".  Aka, Instance ID.  This is very, very specific.  What server you were on doesn't mean anything.  A whole bunch of reasons why.

that's it.  don't fuck with pvp.  i've seen fuckloads of people lose TLPDs to dicking around with pvp.  Ghost yourself. kill yourself at spawn.  Go sit at your body as a ghost.  you can see exactly as far at your body as a ghost, as you can live.  take yourself off the pvp table.  don't feed into it.  they'll fuck off much faster if they have nobody to fuck with.  Use /console set ffxDeath "0" to disable the annoying blue monochrome shit death effect.  sit.  play dead.  they won't know if you're even logged in, fuck 'em.  and remember, if you're looking for shit and find shit, as long as your buddy has a toon in either WmOn or WmOff in whichever side, you can invite them to your party, turn on party sync for quest shit and they'll get pulled over to your crz shard/version/instance, and cross the border between chromie time and regular time.

remember, tlpd is melee. it'll blink behind you.  if you're at level, don't underestimate it. it's not vyragosa.  it'll take you by surprise if you're not prepared.

Can be anywhere from 90 minutes to 5ish hours between spawn. rarely faster. very rarely slower.  usually 2-4ish hours between.  I always say just fucking camp, just go camp.  if you sit solid, people can't come through and see you there and assume it's a likely spawn window.  so just sit there and make the fuckers wonder. good luck.

what the fuck are you scrolling this far down for?

so, if you accidentally kill it in a way where it lands in a wall and you can't loot it - try pulling a mob over if you can, and kill it so you can reach with AOE looting.  fucking pro tip from Adagio-Dalaran. Hero shit, right there.
